About the author

I’m a lithuanian student currently learning architecture. I have around 6 years total experience with training for hypertrophy and strength, with the last 1,5 years being completely dedicated to it. Prior to training for physique goals I had trained in a karate gym for 7 years. Natural lifter. I prefer to stay anonymous.

The reason I created this blog is to help you skip the beginning phase of training – trying to figure out what is and isn’t misinformation on training. There is way too much sub-optimal and horrible advice on the internet on training for size. Fitness has come full circle over the last 10+ years, from pump focused high volume workouts, to strength for size, to now – science based training. All of these were fads, and the true best way to train for hypertrophy is somewhere in the middle. For naturals and enhanced lifters things are a different, especially in terms of injury management, however one thing stays the same – training with a high intensity leads to the most muscle growth.

Having spent the last 6 years (on and off due to health, school and burnout issues up until the last 1,5 years) researching everything related to working out, I believe I have enough knowledge to help you speedrun the beginner stage of training knowledge and hit intermediate/advanced levels fast. I absolutely love lifting, and I want to tell you about what I have learned, what worked for me, others, and what the current research is saying about each thing.

My initials – E.P.
